No.5 - LG Optimus G

Specifications:
CPU: 1.5GHZ QUAD-CORE PROCESSOR SNAPDRAGON™ S4 PRO
Ram:  2GB
Display: 4.7" ZEROGAP TOUCH
Connectivity: 4G LTE

LG phones has not achieved the recognition of its competitor brands in past few years.  This year they come up with a brilliant product that overcomes its failure to tie up with the smartphones of other mobile developers.

The LG Optimus G is a phone supported by the latest Android Jelly Bean and has up to 32G of data storage. This phone is built with quality. Ergonomic design, lightweight with its quadcore processor, it has an attractively bright screen.  You may see the display better even outdoors unlike other inferior phones.

Although the screen looks bright, it is not in HD display. The battery is non-removable, therefore it is probably hard to repair this phone once broken. The battery also drains fairly and has a harsh audio speaker.  The memory is also not expandable because it does not have a memory microSC card slot. But for people who uses smartphones mainly for applications and web browsing, this phone is definitely a go.

No.4 – Sony Erickson Experia Z

The Sony Xperia Z is the first water-resistant  and dust-proof smartphone from Sony. It has a 5 inch display, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Quad Core with 2 GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a MicroSD card slot. It has 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera.  The Experia phone series are well known for its great sleek design and good sound quality. This phone has an attractive search engine that makes you love doing your internet surfing more often. Its dust-proof and water-proof features are perfect for those users who are very particular on the cleanliness of their gadgets.

If ever there are cons in this great phone, we can only name a few.  It does not have the latest version of Android, it only has the 4.2 Froyo version.  Its attractive beautiful display suffers slightly in sunlight and at certain angles. We are probably hoping for a better update of this phone.

No.3 – iPhone 5

CPU: 1.3 GHz Dual Core
Rear Camera: 8MP
Front Camera: 1.2MP
Memory: 1GB RAM
Storage: 16/32/64GB

iPhone 5 is dfinitely The phone to have. So far, it is the extremely revolutionaized and unbeartable. At one time, the iPhone was THE phone to have. Although many phones have already matched it, iphones are still unique because of its iOS. It feels more personalized and exclusive. Other people might not want the exclusivity of the opearating system of Apple products because it limits applications and uses we can do on iphone.  But we don’t worry that much because there are already downloadable applications for iPhone.

No.2 – Samsung Galaxy S4

For a start there is significant size differences between S4, S3 and Note II.  But what made S4 stand out among other Samsung Galaxy series is its edge features, slick interface, smooth functioning with plenty of processing power for complex tasks. It has an amazing 5.0 inch 1080 pixels display. Its memory is expandable with a microSD slot. With its 2GB of RAM and a fast speed of 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, it feels like you are almost using your own computer in your hand.  It supports for HD Voice, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi calling, perfect for people who loves chatting and video conferencing on mobile.  The removable battery gives opportunity to manually power the phone, unlike the past S series phones that drains the battery in a few hours. This phone is also lighter compare to other of its competitors.

No.1 – HTC One

The HTC One instantly give a sense that it is a high-end phone for anyone who holds it.  It has plenty of things to offer that is why it deserves the top spot in this countdown.  The other cover is aesthetically gorgeous. A first-class device from both hardware and software features, this phone has an amazing 4.7 inch display, although a bit smaller than Samsung S4, it boasts its 1,920x1,080 HD resolution. It has a higher pixel density than any phone mentioned above.  The screen is bright and clear with accurate and crisp texture. With a slightly lower CPU of 1.7 GHz than Samsung’s 1.9GHz, HTC One Beat it narrowly in diagnostic speed tests.

Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, although having almost the same capabilities but different designs, are undeniable two of the fastest among the smartest phones we have out there.  It is not a question of whichever phone is the best.  It is a matter of which phone best works for you!  And don’t forget to ask for your service warranties and promos or data plan subscription in considering of buying one.  In the end, a good phone depends on a smart user.
